So why the pile of Mills & Boon novels? For Harvey, the Reading Room is a sanctuary from the world of crime and hard drugs. And it's well placed for keeping an eye on what's happening on the street. But is a library the best place to kick a habit when there are irresistible temptations on the shelf? Middle-aged Ross seems the most ordinary of the three.
