The Serpent's Teeth is a double bill of two linked plays that explore the ways in which ordinary people struggle on with their lives in the context of war. Both Citizens and Soldiers pose disquieting questions about war but the message that resonates is that in all the violence of its scale, it is after all a war's impact on specific and precious lives that resounds so poignantly.
