The Shell Seekers

The Shell SeekersT1491296890
Set in London and Cornwall between World War II and the present, this is a story of Penelope Keeling, her family and of the passions and heartbreak that have held them together for three generations. It is a story of love, courage and determination. It is also a story of The Shell Seekers - a painting and ancestral legacy which threatens to tear the Keeling family apart.

User Review: 17Sep04: What a wonderful insight to a family's life. Past and present, very moving! A devoted daughter who carries her love onto her three children, who are very unlike her and each other. I cried towards the end. Rosemary is perfect playing Penelope, totally believable and memorising in reflecting back on her life. She made me think of my grandmother and I cried buckets. Her three children brought comedy to their parts, very amusing and so different to each other. It teaches you to say how you feel, not leave it till it is too late. Highly recommended!
