Play :: Lucie Cabrol, born into a peasant family in France in 1900, abandoned by her lover, and banished by her family. She is outcast. She survives her second life, by smuggling. But it is in her 3rd life, her after life, that she discovers the survival of something more bare than human existence - the survival of hope and love.
