A Provocation in Two Parts. On October 4th 2001 Dr Vincent Cable MP chaired a public meeting that had been called as a result of a number of complaints about treatment of residents in the Lynde House residential nursing home in Twickenham run by Westminster Health Care. The meeting brought to light some very serious and specific concerns and led to an inquiry into the home, the publication of which is still awaited.
