The Weeding of the Covent Garden

New buildings are going up in Covent Garden. Rooksbill, a developer, is convinced that the Piazza will exceed that in Venice. Cockbrain, however, seeks to weed out all enormities in the area first. Without the benefit of lottery money, will all excesses be purged or will the Covent Garden grow to seed? Brome does not forget to include a shoemaker in his cast for this 'facetious comedy'.
