Thumping
T0
Moray Short has not stepped outside his front door since Eugene left. An agoraphobic, he is sucked into a reclusive life of make-believe and surreal fantasies. Entangled in this web of twisted reality, he struggles hopelessly with a thin shred of rationality; the image of his brother. When two female lodgers take rooms, Moray is forced to confront the world he has rejected. 'Thumping' describes the heart-thumping sensation when the body is aroused in panic. In a deliberate numbing of the senses, this exhilarating new play combines witty dialogue with powerful physical performances to surge towards an explosive climax.
