Based on the Shakespearean tale of Titus Andronicus, this is tragedy, but as you've never seen it before... Journey deep into the heart of a terrifying story of murder, betrayal and revenge; filled with hidden motives and tense standoffs, masked narrators and chilling surprises around every corner. Deep in the bowels of Royal & Derngate, the stage is set for a totally unique and thrilling experience. Mixing the original text with contemporary dialogue, multimedia effects, music and live performance, Titus is theatre that pushes the boundaries of live performance. Performed by our own Youth Theatre in the kitchens of the theatre, this unique experience offers you the opportunity to see top quality theatre created by the rising stars of tomorrow. Suitable for ages 14 and above. Please note this is a promenade performance and will require audience members to follow the action.
