Men and women are inherently different in the way they read into things. Or the way they don't read into things (that would be the men!) And what is more subject to interpretation than art? The wife stands before it and sees something beautiful. The husband stands before it and sees ugly art. Furthermore what is more volatile than a relationship at any given stage?
