What Tammy Needs to Know

T1081094128
A trailer trash crash course on art, tupperware and new math conducted by country and western singer turned lesbian performance artist, Tammy WhyNot. What Tammy Needs To Know is a performance installation that incorporates autobiographical text, original music and audience interaction and asks the following questions: What is the difference between country music and performance art? What does a fifty five year old, trailer trash, ex-heterosexual, ex-famous country and western singer need to learn in order to become a contemporary lesbian performance artist? In the context of asking these questions it also becomes a reflection on the years and experience of the performer's (both Tammy WhyNot 's and Lois Weaver's) life up to this point.
