It lights the way for shadows... and adventures.? April 29, 1942. German Bombers fly on their unexpected course to destroy York. The blackout is in force but some in the city are using the darkness for their own purposes. As the bombs hit, families will find both their courage and their community but hope their secrets will never be revealed... Where Shadows go at Night encompasses two connected fictional crime dramas with the historical events of the York Blitz as their backdrop. Audiences are challenged to solve the mysteries by seeing both short plays on the same night in either order.
