We have four incredible South African poets together in the UK for the first time. While resident at the Albany, they will cooaborate with five of the SLAMbassadors, a polyvocal group of performance poets, freestylers, rappers and emcees discovered via the Poetry Society's national youth slam championship. The result: unique and dynamic new poetry presented exclusively at the Albany. From South Africa: Poet Laureate Keorapetse Kgositsile, Lebo Mashile, Donata Francisco Mattera and Phillippa Yaa de Villiers.
