Jamaican-born Mervyn Morris is Professor of Creative Writing and West Indian Literature at the University of the West Indies in Jamaica. A teacher, editor and prize winning essayist, he will be reading from his three major poetry collections The Pond, Shadowboxing and Examination Centre and other works.
