Details

Mouthy Poets are packing their suitcases full of stories and coming to a city near you. This spoken word production explores how to open a can of fish, how the night was made and how relationships, politics, gender and waddling ducks make us stronger human beings. Featuring film, music, movement and paper planes, it will change your perception of what poetry is. If there isn't vocabulary for our hardship and experience, we develop our own. Mouthy is a collective of 50 young people, supporting each other to develop and deliver their stories to you. Do you have a story? Free Mouthy workshop and Open-Mic hosted by Artistic Director Debris Stevenson before the show. Running time: 1hr 45mins inclu. a 15min interval.
