Writers and performers celebrate the achievements of Nelson Mandela. Nelson Mandela was imprisoned on Robben Island for twenty-seven years. Now, as a tribute to his life, work and the revolutionary political change he brought about in South Africa, twenty-seven leading writers, poets, musicians, performers and spoken word artists each perform a piece in his honour.
