Forget Britain's Got Talent - prepare to be blown off your seat by the energy, power and honesty of a new generation of poets. As part of Shake the Dust, a national celebration of the power of poetry, 5 groups of young people from across Leeds will battle it out to see which team will represent Yorkshire at the National Final at the Southbank Centre in London in July. As Olympic and Paralympic athletes train, young people from across the country will work with leading spoken word artists to share their stories and find their voices through slam poetry.
