Do Not Panic

MAGINE: Just a few days in and already you're sick of the World Cup. You crave a cultural thrill that goes beyond the artistry of a competent corner-kick. What you really want is for your favourite live-lit promoters to assemble a cannily-crafted crack-squad of slam poets, strange poets, old troupers and newbies, all sharing the bill on a greatest-hits gig in downtown Soho. Well, glory be - the god of rhyme has heard your prayers. Hang the spoken-word flag from your window and shout Ôhaiku haiku!'
