Civic Scratch

Civic Scratch is an informal chance for theatre-makers, choreographers, spoken word artists, comedians, writers and performers to showcase new work and try it out, in front of a live audience. The audience are asked to give their responses, and are encouraged to stay afterwards to chat to the performers and have a drink in the bar with our Theatre Programmer. Every scratch is different but expect a real mix of work that may include theatre, dance, spoken word or comedy!

Production details
The five artists testing out their new shows at the Civic Scratch on Thursday 28 April are North East dance theatre company Company of Others, Manic Chord Theatre and Paper Whale from West Yorkshire, The Bare Project from Sheffield, and Barnsley's own The OUTFIT Collaborative.
