A showcase of some of the most adventurous work by young people from the UK and abroad marks the launch of InterNational Connections. It features innovative productions created by young people in collaboration with the National. The second phase, beginning in the autumn, links the National with ten flagship theatres and a multitude of schools and youth theatres worldwide. Groups will be invited to produce one of 12 specially commissioned plays and musicals in their own venues, at regional festivals and at the National in July 2002.
