Transmissions
T0
An exciting showcase of the best in new writing! The REP's unique project Transmissions nurtures the playwrights of the future. Each year, between October and May writers aged between 12 and 25 from all over the West Midlands work with professional tutors to develop their own original ideas for new plays. Through two weeks in the summer a company of professional actors, directors and technicians collaborate on a remarkable showcase of their work, bringing their scripts to life in front of a real audience. Young writers who have already achieved notable success through the project and beyond it include: Louise Ramsden, David Watson, Kimberley Andrews, Arzhang Pezhman, Tim Jeffreys and Chantal Hopkins.
