First performed in 1855, this is a monumental opera with impassioned and dramatic music, rich in showpiece arias and with striking choruses and dancers from The Royal Ballet and Royal Danish Ballet. Sung in French with English subtitles. Running time: 4hrs 45mins including two intervals.
