Production details
Dancing Nation was originally scheduled to broadcast on Thursday 14 January, however following the UK Government's announcement that England has now entered a new lockdown, Sadler's Wells and BBC Arts have adapted the events format in order for the broadcast to be compliant with new guidelines currently in place.
Dancing Nation will now be available to UK viewers via BBC iPlayer and to audiences worldwide via Sadler's Wells website from Thursday 28 January, with all performances and interviews captured in advance and shared as three pre-recorded programmes. This new format allows staff and artists to work safely within current UK government Covid-security guidance, with health of all teams involved as paramount in both Sadler's Wells and BBC Arts' approach to the initiative. It also makes it possible to share the content featured in Dancing Nation with audiences as soon as possible.
