Britten String Quartets

The first Wigmore Study Group of the season, hosted by composer Julian Philips, is devoted to Britten's three string quartets of 1941, 1945 and 1975. Over three afternoons (17, 20 and 27 November) cultural context will be provided by leading [Britten experts and musical examples by the Hall's resident quartet, the Belcea Quartet.
