Dr Robert Moog, the creator of the revered Moog synthesizer (venerated by artists from The Beatles to The Beach Boys to current trash darlings The Scissor Sisters) is joined one of the artists who helped to define electronic music in the 60s. Still wildly influential, Jean Jacques Perrey has recently collaborated with Air and Luke Vibert. Together they offer a presentation and open discussion on the pioneering history and development of the Moog synthesizer, as well as charting the ongoing progress of a technological phenomenon which revolutionised electronic music, and that widely informs popular music to this day.
