Will we develop an emotional relationship to virtual characters? Can we use new brain imaging research to make machines that learn by watching us? Speakers include Ray Riley from Nike; David MacCarthy from Edge magazine; Steven Poole author of Trigger Happy; Tiziana Terranova, sociologist from University of Essex. Daniel Glaser, neuroscientist and ICA scientist-in-residence, will give an illustrated presentation, Seeing Minds in Motion, exploring the relationship between seeing and doing.
