Another opportunity to acquaint yourself with the work of some of the UK's best contemporary writers in the intimate setting of The Hexagon. Jenny's work has recently been extensively featured in Oxford Poets 2000. The author of two books of poetry as well as stories and plays for children, she describes herself as a 'sort of Hilda Ogden Naash'. Alicia's collections are The Magician's Assistant and Unsuitable Shoes. Her work has won several prizes and been praised for its 'exuberant delicious, uncomfortable inventiveness.' Both women have written, and at this event will read about their experiences of cancer.
