An Audience with John Sergeant

An evening with John Sergeant, the reporter who for over 30 years has covered conflicts in many parts of the world, including Vietnam, the Middle East and Southern Africa, before settling down as a political correspondent. He often travelled with the prime minister of the day, including Margaret Thatcher (who made him well known following the famous 'handbagging incident' outside the Paris Embassy two days before she resigned in 1990) and John Major, as well as Tony Blair.
