Write to Play will present an evening with American playwright Neil LaBute on Monday 12 February 8.45pm at The Bush Theatre, after the preview of his play Wrecks. The evening will start with a discussion with Neil LaBute about his career and work before volunteers read from his play The Furies, never seen or heard in the UK before. The evening will end with a discussion with Neil about his themes, styles and methods of writing. Neil LaBute, American film director, script writer and playwright, is known for his edgy and unsettling portrayals of human relationships. His previous plays include The War on Terror, Helter Skelter/Land of the Dead, The Shape of Things, The Mercy Seat, Fat Pig and In a Dark Dark House. Write to Play focuses on one prolific playwright bi-monthly, changing venues each time and striving to give audiences the opportunity to engage with playwrights. This evening marks the third in the series.
