Graphic designer, scriptwriter and author Patrick Tilley began his award-winning career in the late 1950's with three episodes for ATV's 'Crane' then scripted feature films in the UK and Los Angeles. He turned to writing books in 1970, and his publications include Whatever Happened to the Likely Lads and The Mission.
