The second in a series of talks exploring how we might reinvent notions of the public shere. This evening architect Rem Koolhaas is in conversation with Rowan Moore, architecture critic at The Evening Standard and author Vertigo: the Strange New World of the Contemporary City. Rem Koolhaas, co-founded the Office for Metropolitan Architecture in 1975; the work of the office has won several international awards and was the subject of a retrospective at MOMA, New York, Rem Koolhaas and the Place of Public Architecture. Current projects include the construction of a new city centre for Almere, Netherlands, a series of Prada stores and the new Seattle Public Library.
