With more than 30 years of experience in the theatre, Sir Richard Eyre is one of the world's most respected directors of stage and screen. From 1988-97, he served as Artistic Director of the Royal National Theatre a tenure which critics have described as a golden age. He has won numerous awards for his theatre work, including an Olivier Award for 'Lifetime Achievement'.
