Our ancestors lie all around in both obvious and unexpected places. The archaeologist Julan Richards will describe the making of the two successful BBC television series Meet the Ancestors. Using modern science, X rays, radiocarbon dating, isotopes and DNA, Julian builds up a detailed picture of ancient people and their lives. David Wilkinson will talk about the Stafford Castle Project and Adam Brossler will illustrate some recent archaeological discoveries in Stafford.
