Human rights are widely regarded as the guiding principle of global politics today. They are now part of our national law. But what about the human rights of asylum-seekers and other migrants? What have human rights principles to say about their relationship to the settled population? Ina unique occasion Stephen Sedley, Judge of the Court of Appeal, and sometime UK Judge at the European Court of Human Rights will lecture on Human Right's legislation and the movements of migrants and then be interrogated by: Andrew Nicol QC, Courtenay Griffiths QC, Keir Starmer QC and human rights lawyer Jane Coker.
