T0

Are identity politics a thing of the past? This evening's event takes a critical look at the conflict between liberationists and assimilationists and the rise of gay politics as consumerism devoid of politics. Speakers include: Richard Goldstein, executive editor of The Village Voice and author of The Attack Queers; Peter Tatchell, gay rights campaigner since 1969 and founder of OutRage! and Angela Mason, executive director of Stonewall. In the chair: Tristan Reid-Smith, editor of the Pink Paper.
