We are very pleased to launch a major new programme of literary events this season in association with The Bookshop, Chipping Norton. As well as a feast of eminent authors including Jaqueline Wilson, Sir Robin Day and John Sutherland, we are offering day-time workshops, a monthly Literature Group and literacy activities for schools, creating a poetry anthology for blind people. For the launch, TV comedian Tony Hawks will be recounting his triumphant adventures to win a bet, hitch-hiking "Around Ireland with a Fridge" Tony will be familiar from his recent TV appearances on 'Have I Got News For You' and 'They Think Its All Over'.
