Roy Hudd not feeling Solid Gold Details>>

Roy Hudd has had o withdraw from Solid Gold Cadillac on Doctor's Orders.

It is with much regret that Act productions have to announce that due to exhaustion Mr Roy Hudd has made the decision, on medical advice, to step down from the role of “Edward McKeever” in the 50th anniversary production of “The Solid Gold Cadillac”.

The show which is currently playing at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre Guildford until 11 September will also play a week at Malvern Theatre (13-18 September) prior to a West End run at the Garrick Theatre from 22 September. Mr Hudd's understudy, Mr Derek Howard, will play the part of “Edward McKeever” until the producers have recast the role.

Act Productions would like to take the opportunity to wish Mr Hudd a speedy recovery.
