Text:	First Act Theatre is an exciting concept in theatre for young people. As well as the obvious aim of giving them the opportunity to perform on stage in plays, musicals and revues, First Act offers a great deal more. Working with a dedicated team, First Act provides a professional standard of training in lighting, sound, stage management, marketing and show production - in fact all operational aspects of running a theatre. During performances, the members run all parts of the show. A new development is a First Act Theatre Orchestra, training young people under an experienced musical director. We are based at and operate the Jubilee Theatre, Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne, UK.
