T01007842890 his is a play that will connect you to the lives of a group of ordinary men who were caught up in the most horrific of situations. It's a story that travels from Dunbar, through the North East of England to Durham and through several centuries. Just over 350 years ago a group of soldiers fighting in the Civil Wars were captured at the Battle of Dunbar. Several thousand soldiers were taken prisoner and marched to Durham where they were held in the Castle and the then empty Cathedral. Whilst being held in Durham many of them died.
