An Irresponsible Father's Guide to Parenting - T336728506

Five years ago Laurence Clark appeared on a BBC documentary about being a parent with cerebral palsy. Afterwards he received a number of tweets from random strangers saying how irresponsible it was for him to have had children. This has gnawed away at him over the years to the point where he now wants to set the record straight. In this new stand-up comedy show Laurence gives an honest account of what it's really like to be a disabled parent as he attempts to prove what a responsible dad he is. The trouble is his kids Jamie (age 6) and Tom (age 13) have recorded their own video inserts telling it exactly how it is!

Spastic Fantastic - T0253394154

As a boy growing up with cerebral palsy, comedian Laurence Clark dreamt of singing with a punk band called ‘Spastic Fantastic’... he never managed it, probably because he can’t sing! Instead he became a comedian and, in this new show attempts to reclaim the word ‘spastic’ through a mix of hard-hitting stand-up, multi-media and ingenious hidden camera sketches. Laurence Clark has a wit drier than the Navajo desert, a control of timing that would put Seiko to shame and scores upon scores of fizzingly funny one-liners. The Stage

The Jim Davidson Guide to Equality - T1426527231

The Jim Davidson Guide to Equality. [Jim Davidson] cancelled one of his shows because there were wheelchair users in the front row. The next night Jim's anger got the better of him and he began ranting about how he "f***ing hates disabled peopel." If Jim can do that, there is no reason why disabled people can't do the same in return! Laurence's new show targets comedians who do disablist humour, turning the tables back on them.Performer Laurence Clark.
