About the Show/Event

Information for Baal at Bridewell Theatre, Inner London (Play). Brecht's first play, Baal, is a dramatic biography of a bohemian poet, who flouts convention and exploits man and woman alike in his ruthless drive for self-realisation through sensuality. It is lyrical and episodic, crudely imagined but vigorously expressed and located in the provinces Brecht knew, where town meets country under the open sky.
Author Bertolt Brecht. Company SEDOS. Translation Peter Tegel.

Tuesday, 22nd January 2019 to Saturday, 26th January 2019.
