CORONAVIRUS:All UK venues closed on 16th March 2020 and look like staying closed until March 2021 with the exception of a few, patchy, openings (and subsequent closures) towards the end of 2020. Some open-air, drive-in venues have been opened for periods and many shows are now streaming on-line. Sadly, some venues and shows may not survive. About the Show/Event
Information for The Normal Heart at Olivier (National Theatre), West End (Play). The first AIDS play (1986). Set in New York in the early 1980's, this powerful, passionate and controversial play was the first to treat seriously the poignant and awesome subject of AIDS. It follows a writer's struggle to break through indifference and hypocrisy surrounding the killer disease and his attempt to draw attention to the plight of gay community in contemporary America.
