About the Show/Event
Information for Comedy Store Players at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, West End (Comedy). Established in 1985, the Players have continued to improvise to audience suggestion and wow packed-out audiences twice weekly at London's world famous Comedy Store. Each show is entirely unscripted and completely improvised so no two performances are ever the same. Expect a furiously paced show, heavily laden with spontaneity, absurdity, surreal sketches, music, and expertly crafted mayhem from the finest performers in the business. For the 22nd year in a row, the Comedy Store Players take over the Globe stage with no idea of what you, the audience, will suggest for their improvised sketches and songs. This talented troupe always fill the Globe with the sound of laughter. The Players will close the show with a six-person, improvised ?Shakespeare playlet', with a title suggested by the crowd.
