Bodies
Information for Bodies at Southwark Playhouse, Inner London (Play). Two couples try to get to grips with important issues in the mid-70's. Why do people fall in love? Or get married? Why do things fall apart? And what happens next? Bodies is a startling portrait of sexual and marital relations in the 1960's and 70's and delves into these questions with bitter humour. One of a string of successes written by James Saunders, this marks its first staging since 1979.
Approximate runtime 135minutes (including any interval).
Author James Saunders. Company Two's Company. Producer Karl Sydow (in association with Master Media). Director Tricia Thorns. Design Alex Marker. Costume Emily Stuart. Lighting Neill Brinkworth. Sound Dominic Bilkey.
