A Comic Opera. An enduring anti-fascist allegory, a haunting parable of the triumph of innocence over evil. Its most famous performances were given in the Terezin concentration camp, before Krasa was deported and murdered at Auschwitz in 1944. Krasa's work, branded 'degenerate' by the Nazis, has been rediscovered and celebrated in recent years.
