Led by Ley Adewole and Richard Penrose, the Gospel Choir started as a 10 week workshop in January 2013. Ley is an award winning Gospel singer, songwriter and vocal coach who has recorded and performed live with top recording artists such as Stevie Wonder, George Michael and Take That to name a few. Richard Penrose is the Musical Director and an accomplished pianist, composer, producer and arranger. He has supported artists such as Courtney Pine, Jan Ackerman and Katrina and the Waves and played with numerous visiting international Jazz artists such as Alan Barnes, Jim Mullen and Tim Whitehead.
