The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel archiveBased on the Sunday Times bestseller which inspired one of this century's most treasured films, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel takes us on a journey to India with an eclectic group of British retirees as they embark on a new life. The luxury residence is far from the opulence they were promised, but as their lives begin to intertwine and they embrace the vibrancy of modern-day India, they are charmed in unexpected and life-changing ways. The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel is a joyous, feel-good comedy about taking risks, finding love and embracing second chances, even in the most surprising of places. The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel review
21Apr23: Touring production seen at the Theatre Royal Plymouth.

User Review: 09Feb23: Thoroughly enjoyed this and certainly would not have walked out as some other reviewers did. Only heard good comments as we left Nottingham Theatre Royal. 1st half was livelier and funnier than the 2nd more serious half and yes, there were some longer, uncomfortable pauses, particularly in the 2nd half but overall an excellent performance with a joyous end by the whole cast.

User Review: 01Dec22: Fabulous production. Deserves 5* but the swearing was a bit too much for me. Very cleverly done right down to the dancing. Beilliqnt. Breath of fresh air.

User Review: 27Oct22: Very disappointed, the script definitely didn't live up to the quality of the actors, lots of pauses, boring left in interval.

User Review: 22Oct22: Lazy scriptwriting, stilted delivery by some of the cast and just boring. Left at the interval.

User Review: 20Oct22: Brilliant, feel good play. It holds true to the film but each character's story is subtly different to that in the film, which makes for some interesting story lines.

User Review: 19Oct22: This was the worst, most boring show I’ve seen for ages at the Churchill. Such a shame with brilliant actors. Nothing like the film. Very disappointing.
