This concert version is a unique opportunity to hear the author tell his own story of Joey and his journey from peaceful Devon to survival through the First World War, from farm horse to WarHorse, a noble animal who never had the human frailty of taking sides. The stage adaptation played to sold out audiences at the National Theatre, transferred to the West End where it continues to sell out and has recently been bought by Steven Spielberg to be made into a Hollywood movie.
