Details

Based on India's great epic the Ramayana, Sita's Story tells the Hindu story of the darkening of the sun and how light was restored to earth. Two performers draw children into the adventures of legendary lovers, Sita and Rama, Hanuman the wondrous monkey king, and of course the terrifying ten-headed demon Ravana. They vividly bring to life the magical world of the Circular City and the demon island of Lanka, using scarves, masks, song and dance.
