Bursting at the seams with colour and comedy, laced through with irony and allegory, The Great Silence is a fable about a King who can't bear music and tries to stamp it out - with disastrous and far-reaching results. The heroes are two kids who hate each others' guts but learn to make friends, stand up to a stupid overbearing grown-up and save the world.
