Jimmy Tibbs wakes on the night before Christmas 1941 to find the world is turning cold. Something is happening - and it's serious! Soon, Jimmy and his school pals, Sam and Gladys, are drawn into a series of exhilarating escapades and, before they know it, are on a flying sleigh, heading to the North Pole on a rescue mission. Once there, Jimmy finds himself in great danger. All he has to guide him is a poem from his Father, which starts 'The Night Before Christmas...' . Can he unravel the mystery that will help him unfreeze hearts, including his own, or will the evil forces of the Kingdom of Frost triumph?
